Armetale Metal

Armetale metal is a unique, non-toxic aluminum-based alloy, making it ideal for cooking and entertaining. This durable metal will not rust, break, crack or chip under normal usage. Each Armetale product is a solid piece of metal with no coating applied. Our product comes in two finishes - one finish is a high polish similar to silver and the other is a matte finish similar to pewter.

Use and Care

Simply wash your Armetale serveware with mild soap, then rinse with hot water and towel-dry. Automatic dishwashers are not recommended because the chemicals in water may harm the metal's fine finish. However, slight scratches caused by the cutting action of knives and forks are normal. They lend character and an air of authenticity to your serveware. If staining or discoloration does occur, either from food stains or discoloration caused by automatic dishwasher, prepare a combination of baking soda and water to form a paste.Rub the paste on the piece and towel dry. Apply Nevr- Dull or other similar silver polish to lift the remaining stain and restore the shine. If discoloration or dullness was caused by an automatic dishwasher, the paste and polish will help, but your original shine may not be restored.

Collections

Classic

Its design was inspired by, but not attributed to a colonial pewter piece found in an antique store in Boston over 40 years ago. The simplicity of form combining round into square fit in with Traditional pieces but was highly adaptable to more contemporary styles. Now it offers many more choices and combinations with the addition of the wooden serving pieces.

SeaLife

Let our Lighthouse lead the way to this wonderful new collection of seaside inspired servers. The truly authentic design of the Lobster Server and the intricate Sand Dollar Tray allow you to serve snacks and dip or a main course of your finest surf n' turf. Serve nuts or candy in the incredibly cute Sea Horse dish.

Flutes and Pearls

In decorative arts references, 'Flutes' are sculpted parallel indentations and 'Pearls' are repeated raised beads. The combination makes for a sparkling effect. The history of this design and its application begins in 1821, when Karl Freidrich Schinkel began publishing a portfolio which was destined to determine the direction of the decorative arts throughout Europe for many years.

Reggae

The festive and whimsical combination of spirals and zig zags provide a design evocative of the rhythms of the Caribbean. The exuberant decorative rim design was a collaboration of the Wilton Armetale Art Department. It is widely used in a variety of style environments including Contemporary, Country, Traditional, Classic and Caribbean.
